Karli Rosen, MFT
Karli genuinely believes in the resilience of people, and the healing nature of relationships. She understands the importance of feeling seen and being heard and believes without such, an authentic therapeutic journey won't unfold. Karli's formal graduate training in couples and family work means that she is particularly adept at working with individuals experiencing concerns related to family of origin, namely familial boundaries. Additionally, she enjoys working with those experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, imposter syndrome, sex-related issues, and relational coercion and violence.
Therapy with Karli is both collaborative and compassionate and she prefers working with individuals who are motivated to "do the work" to improve their quality of life. The therapeutic techniques she prefers most include narrative and systemic theories/interventions, mindfulness, and polyvagal theories. This integrative approach comes naturally for Karli as she also has taught yoga for over a decade. This is Karli's second career; her original career path involved product design which interestingly gives Karli an unexpected and unique advantage allowing her to think creatively about obstacles and challenges. Her background and experience help to bring open-mindedness, creativity, and groundedness to the therapeutic space.
