Noel is a licensed marriage and family therapist providing individual, couple and family therapy. Her areas of specialization include the assessment and treatment of problems related to anger management, self injurious behavior (cutting, burning, picking and pulling of skin and hair), grief and loss, intimacy issues with couples, premarital counseling and anxiety and depression. Her clinical focus emphasizes a systemic, integrative approach to working with all aspects of the client in a safe and supportive environment. She helps clients to develop cognitive behavioral tools in combination with relaxation techniques to help manage symptoms, expand functioning and develop new strategies for moving forward in their lives.
For the past ten years Noel has been helping clients enhance their lives and make positive changes through effective therapy. She is active in the community, giving presentations on various topics including anger and self injury. She is an associate member of the American Psychological Association and a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. She is a native of Philadelphia, is married and has a daughter.
